Facilitates the documentation of finely detailed buildings located domestically and internationally with projects types varying from single family and multi-family residential to commercial. Responsibilities include drafting, client communication, contractor coordination, and facilitating work to junior staff

Provided design and documentation on high end residential projects, including exterior detailing on a luxury residence with a construction budget exceeding $15 million. Additional projects include design, documentation, and construction administration for COVID-19 dining shelters for local businesses. . 

Hacker Architects

2012- 2019 | Associate | Portland, OR

Core team member of a 200,000 SF surgical renovation of a building for Portland State University. Responsibilities included design assistance, project documentation, as well as managing construction administration co-located at the job site. Also a participant in the firm’s 1% pro bono projects.

RAW DESIGN BUILD & NEEMA VILLAGE 

Summer 2016 Designer | Arusha, Tanzania 

Alongside other young professionals and local craftsman, designed and built a “forever home” for children in Arusha, Tanzania. Collaborated with local craftsmen to learn regional construction techniques, which were then implemented in the design build process.

RAW DESIGN BUILD  & IAU COLLEGE     

Summer 2013 | Honorary Fellow | Aix-en-Provence, France 

Lead a three week design-build course mentoring architecture students through the design and construction process on location. Budgeted and sourced materials while creating design documents that would later become a wood framed outdoor art studio.

RESOURCE WOODWORKS

2011-2012 | Woodworker | Boulder, CO

Lead initiative to design and build a booth, signage, and marketing material for a regional trade show. Designed, built, and photographed furniture created from reclaimed material.
