A PRIVATE RESIDENCE CASCADING DOWN a HILLSIDE.

This 10,000 sf home cascades down a hillside above the Malibu coast. Public spaces are carved into the hill while the more private areas sit above, oriented with views towards the horizon. A hierarchy of structure was established. Stone and concrete walls are exposed for spaces set within the earth. Large operable glazing sections slip between steel fins within the steel super structure.
