Carlson Gymnasium
A study of space and pedagogies
A renovation of gymnasium built for CU Boulder in 1923, this project focused on transforming the historic structure into spaces supporting modern academic needs and evolving pedagogies. Several options were explored focusing on active learning and alternative classroom environments. A schematic design package was produced to present a variety of design options for each unique space within the gymnasium.
